What is a Chemical Reaction?
You can write chemical relations in LabNote. Click Chemical Reaction
button in the top middle of the Bench to open the Chemical Reaction input area. You can create a new chemical reaction by creating entirely new chemical materials or leveraging pre-built materials from the Lab Inventory (drag-and-drop).
- The Chemical Reaction input area provides toolbars on the left side.
- Click
Material
button to add or draw molecular structures for your chemical reaction. - Use

or→
buttons to organize the materials in the current Chemical Reaction.
Write Conditions of a Chemical Reaction
- Click the Arrow blocks to see the toolbars above.
- Add materials in the Arrow blocks to visualize the molecular structures used for the current chemical reaction.
- Add
Text
to describe details about reaction conditions.
Edit Existing Chemical Reactions
- Freely change the positions of Added Material blocks or Arrow blocks with simple drag-and-drop.
- Click
trash
icon to remove any of the blocks instantly.
